Constant environmental focus

The environment is always in focus here at PTC. Many of our products are used to guarantee the environmentally friendly handling of everything from household waste to dangerous chemicals. It is therefore a matter of course that we work constantly on improving our factory environment in order to ensure that we have the best possible indoor and outdoor environments. Our environmental policy is expressed in the following terms:

  • We must strive to exceed the environmental requirements called for by law.
  • New methods must be introduced in order to improve the internal and external environments.
  • All changes that are made must result in an improvement to the environment.
  • Our suppliers must be reminded of their responsibility to improve raw materials from an environmental aspect.
  • We must strive to minimise the amount of waste and recycling wherever possible.
  • Our employees must be trained and be committed so as to ensure we can meet our environmental goals.
  • The environmental policy must mean that PTC strives for constant improvements in harmony with the environment.

Continuous quality development

Quality for us is a part of the total value of PTC's skills and products. Thanks to our extensive experience and high level of overall skills, we know that we maintain a first-rate quality standard. At the same time, we know that the term quality is a general one covering a wide area. This is why we at PTC determine its implication wherever possible in consultation with our suppliers and customers. Our goal is to clearly define and establish quality objectives for each individual undertaking. We try to achieve this by careful preliminary work/feasibility studies, creating closer contacts with our suppliers and customers over the course of the work and design proposals for more flexible and thereby quicker manufacturing.

  • PTC's activities must meet customer expectations with respect to product quality, delivery assurance and customer service.
  • Constant improvements must be a tool for achieving our quality objectives.
  • Quality objectives must be in place for all activities throughout the company and quality improvements must be the task and responsibility of everyone.
